The 2016 Arkansas Medical Cannabis Act was certified by the Arkansas Attorney General (Dustin McDaniel) in September of 2014 and we’ve been collecting signatures ever since. In order to be on the ballot, we’ll need 67,887 valid, registered voters. The AMCA is a comprehensive blueprint for establishing and regulating a medical cannabis program in Arkansas. This is not a recreational measure. Overseen by the Arkansas Department of Health (ADH), it provides for up to 38 initial non-profit Cannabis Care Centers across the state.
