Terpenes are found in cannabis regardless of whether it is home-grown or obtained from a dispensary. However, the amounts may vary greatly due to cultivation and processing techniques. Products, specifically those that decarboxylate cannabis during the processing/extraction stage, may have significantly less terpenes in the end-product than a whole plant cannabis product that has not gone through any sort of extraction process.
