Although cannabidiol (CBD) is commonly thought of as being non-psychoactive, researchers have now demonstrated that CBD exhibits antipsychotic, anxiolytic (anxiety-reducing) and antidepressant effects. Therefore, CBD is technically “psychoactive” because it does affect the mind. The more appropriate answer is CBD is “not psychoactive like THC.”
