Headband: Heavy-Hitting Hybrid Genetics

Although Headband is listed as a Sativa on many menus throughout California, the genetics are linked to Sour Diesel, Master Kush, and OG Kush which suggests the Headband strain should be classified as an Indica-dominant Hybrid.

It literally feels like you are wearing a head band when you medicate with this strain (hence its name). A spacey smoke session every time, the Headband strain tends to produce a full-bodied high that definitely makes my head feel a bit foggy.

Additionally, Headband is one of those strains you can medicate with and stare off into space for a few minutes, only to “snap” back into reality and wonder what just happened… I found Headband to be helpful in managing minor pain relief without the physical fatigue typically associated with most heavy Indica strains. Having said that, Headband is still a potent hybrid, so it would not be wise to medicate with this before work or something that needs your full, undivided attention.
