Medical Cannabis Savory Pretzels From Auntie Dolores

In what is a delicious option for medical marijuana patients in search of health-conscious infused edibles, Auntie Dolores has really hit the mark with their take on a classic savory snack – hard pretzels.

Auntie Dolores Offers Low-Calorie, High Potency Infused Edibles

Based in San Francisco, Auntie Dolores has built a reputation for creating infused edible options that are low in calories and high in potency. They have a wide variety of products to choose from and they can be found at collectives throughout the State of California.

The Auntie Dolores product line has something for just about everyone. It consists of sweets like Chocolate Fudge Cake and a variety of Brownie Bites, including: Chocolate Toffee, Mint Chip, Chocolate Peanut Butter, and Triple Chocolate.

“In addition to being vegan and sugar free, Auntie Dolores’ Savory Pretzels do not contain any MSG.”

But I’ve said it before, and I will say it again – I love that Auntie Dolores has a number of edible options for those with special dietary restrictions. For instance, they produce medicated cheese crackers that are sugar free and gluten free, gluten free caramel corn, and hard pretzels that are vegan and sugar free.

In addition to being vegan and sugar free, Auntie Dolores’ Savory Pretzels do not contain any MSG. However, they do contain wheat and soy, so those with allergy issues should be aware of this prior to consumption.

Infused Savory Pretzels: Vegan, Sugar Free, & Delicious

After reviewing the Auntie Dolores Chili Lime Peanuts, and their Medical Cannabis Cheese Crackers, I knew that I had found another worthwhile infused edible company. In fact, they could be well on their way to becoming one of my favorites with the variety of products they offer.

I know that’s a lofty statement to make (and I will always love Dr. Robert’s), but I assure you that this consideration was not taken lightly. Not only have I found their products to be delicious, but I love that each Auntie Dolores product is clearly labeled with the ingredients and nutrition information. They list the following ingredients for their Savory Pretzels:

  • Cannabis
  • Pretzels (Flour, Barley, Malt, Yeast, Baking Soda)
  • Soy Sauce
  • Rice Vinegar
  • Coconut Oil
  • Garlic Powder
  • Paprika
  • Onion Flakes

In addition to the ingredients, Auntie Dolores provides lab testing information from Steep Hill Halent for each of their products. According to their website, the test results for each package of their Savory Pretzels is as follows:

How Will Auntie Dolores’ Medicated Savory Pretzels Affect Me?

First, let me begin by saying that hard pretzels have never been my favorite snack. Not to say that I won’t eat pretzels when they’re put in front of me, but I can’t think of any occasion that I would reach for pretzels over any other snack.

However, I was pleasantly surprised by the taste of the Auntie Dolores pretzels. The cannabis seemed to blend with the lightly-salted pretzels perfectly, creating a flavor profile that kept me coming back for more.

Auntie Dolores advises that low tolerance patients eat around 5-10 pretzels (20-25% of the bag), which I would say is a pretty good starting point if you are unsure of what to expect.

I personally ate around half the package in one sitting, and found it offer the the same sort of relief I experience when eating two sections of a 4.20 Bar from the Venice Cookie Company. Of course, this makes sense when you consider that a half-bag of Auntie Dolores’ pretzels and two sections of a 4.20 Bar should each contain around 60 milligrams of THC.

The effects I experienced after eating half a package of pretzels can be as mild and mellow. I’m sure that a few more pretzels could have helped induce a serious body melt if needed, but I found that half of a bag was just about perfect when I needed to relieve any pent-up stress and muscle tension.

Overall, I would have to say that the Medicated Savory Pretzels are hit in my book. They are a great option for patients in search of an infused edible that they can snack on throughout the day without feeling overly medicated. Even better, the taste makes the Auntie Dolores pretzels a medible option that I would have no problem keeping snacking on every day.
