Northwest Naturals Petite Honey Jar By The Venice Cookie Co.

The Venice Cookie Company, the creators of one of the most potent chocolate bars we have had to date – The 4.20 Bar – recently debuted their new line of healthy and potent spreads, Northwest Naturals.

Like their Coconut Butter we recently reviewed, the Northwest Naturals Honey is all organic, gluten free, dairy free, includes no corn syrup and is 100% fat free. The ingredients in this medicated honey include organic, cannabis infused coconut oil and honey straight from the comb.

Each “Petite Honey Jar” contains 4.67g of cannabis, which is approximately 200mg of THC. This is enough for two servings for a typical patient who is experienced with edibles. The Venice Cookie Co. advises every patient to consume only half of a serving and wait a minimum of 75 minutes before consuming another portion until you are familiar the effects.

Here’s a recipe for a Ginger-Honey Salad Dressing & Glaze from The Venice Cookie Co. that calls for the Northwest Naturals Cannabis Activated Ginger-Flavored Honey:

• 1/3 cup cannabis infused Northwest Naturals Ginger-Honey
• 1/2 cup rice wine vinegar
• 2 cups extra-virgin olive oil*
• 2 jalapeño peppers, seeded and minced
• 4 Tablespoons fresh grated ginger
• salt and pepper, to taste

To make the dressing, combine Northwest Naturals Ginger-Honey, vinegar, olive oil, jalapeño peppers, ginger, salt and pepper in a medium bowl and mix well. Use as a salad dressing or finishing glaze on your favorite grilled protein.

IMPORTANT:Excessive and high heat can destroy cannabinoids, so brush on your glaze in the final minutes of grilling only!
