Roasted Nut N’ Honey “Nutty Butter” By Healthy Highness Edible Co.
Nutty Butter is a peanut butter spread made by Healthy Highness Edible Company, and is available in Roasted Nut ‘N’ Honey and Hazelnut flavors.
Every day throughout my elementary and middle school years my Mom packed me a bagged lunch with a sandwich, stringed cheese, some 3D Doritos, and a chocolate Snack Pack (Thanks Mom). I was such a picky eater that I refused to eat fruits or vegetables, and I would only eat PB&J sandwiches…hold the ‘J’. That’s right, plain old peanut butter and white bread. I was, and still am, obsessed with peanut butter (and an extremely picky eater), and that is why I was ecstatic when I saw the Nutty Butter on the Freedom Farmers menu.
“The effects are very similar to many of the other Healthy Highness edibles, very lethargic & relaxing with just the right amount of medication.”
I split the Nutty Butter into two dosages and enjoyed both of them in the same day; I just couldn’t resist. The first half I spread all over my Eggo’s, which I thoroughly enjoyed for breakfast. The spread is very sweet and smooth, and definitely didn’t need syrup on top. In fact, I held off on the syrup on my second waffle and I enjoyed it more that way. Needless to say, the edible hit me rather quickly on an empty stomach, within 20 minutes. The effects are very similar to many of the other Healthy Highness edibles, very lethargic & relaxing with just the right amount of medication.
I enjoyed the second dose as a late night snack, which I ate by itself with some milk. This may sound weird, but to a guy who used to eat spoonfuls of peanut butter off a spoon after hockey practices, this was standard procedure. It’s really up to you how you enjoy this edible; it will be delicious no matter what. This was the perfect snack to enjoy before bed because it put me right to sleep.
A Naturally Sweetened Peanut Butter Spread
The Nutty Butter spread is made with cannabutter containing THC and CBD extracted from approximately 3.2 grams of primarily Indica medical marijuana. This cannabutter is then used to make the all-natural peanut butter base (salt added) and honey is added for sweetness. You can definitely tell some love went into making this peanut butter.
I have had plenty of different organic and homemade peanut butters, and this spread was on par with most of them as far as taste goes. The peanut butter is smooth and has a great texture. However, it is important to note that this spread is going to be a little bit oily on the surface when you open it for the first time, and it may require a quick stir before eating it.
Not to worry, this is a sign of a natural peanut butter, free of hydrogenated oils preventing the natural separation. Natural peanut butters are made by whipping just two ingredients together—peanuts and salt—and lack the artificial sweeteners such as high-fructose corn syrup that most supermarket peanut butters contain. As far as I’m concerned, Jif and Skippy doesn’t hold a candle to this peanut butter.
Healthy Highness Brings A “Higher” Level Of Care To The Table
Since Healthy Highness used honey to naturally sweeten the spread, they managed to add nutritional value while making the edible a safe option to those watching their glucose levels.

A food’s “glycemic index” is a standardized measurement of the amount of time food containing carbohydrates takes to break down into glucose in your bloodstream, raising your blood-sugar levels. Foods with lower values take longer to break down, and lend a hand to maintaining even glucose levels in your bloodstream. Since honey has a lower glycemic value, most diabetics can tolerate it over sugar. Peanuts and other types of legumes and nuts have low glycemic values as well which lends to the medicinal value of this edible. Not to mention, honey is sweeter than sugar, so less is required to sweeten the spread. This makes this edible appealing to those watching their weight as well.
In 1999, the World Health Organization (WHO) and Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) recommended that people base their diets around low-GI foods in order to prevent common diseases of affluence, such as coronary heart disease, diabetes and obesity. This edible could be the perfect start to your well-balanced diet.
