Review: CBD Balance One Tincture From The Venice Cookie Co.

Just shortly after releasing their Sativa One Tincture and Indica One Tincture PM Formula with Cannaroma, The Venice Cookie Co. has introduced two CBD tinctures for patients who may not want the psychotropic effects of your typical THC-rich product. The CBD Balance One Tincture in particular has a 1:1 ratio of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and cannabidol (CBD).

CBD Balance One Tincture: A 1:1 THC-to-CBD Sublingual Formula

I’ve said it before, but quality tincture can be quite hard to come by in Southern California. So, I was excited to hear that The Venice Cookie Co. was working on CBD tincture formulas.

The CBD Balance One Tincture is a liquid coconut oil formula that can either be administered directly under the tongue or in a beverage if you prefer. Each half ounce bottle contains 125 milligrams (mg) of THC and 125mg of CBD.

The Venice Cookie Co. lists the following ingredients for the CBD Balance One Tincture:

  • MCT Oil (Liquid Coconut Oil)
  • High CBD Cannabis Oil
  • High THC Cannabis Oil

According to its label, one full dropper of CBD Balance One Tincture contains 8.3mg of THC and 8.3mg of CBD.

How Might The CBD Balance One Tincture Affect Me?

After trying the Sativa One Tincture and Indica One Tincture with Cannaroma, I was excited to see how the CBD Balance One formula would compare.

“I personally like to let the tincture swish around under my tongue for 10-15 seconds before swallowing it, as this will allow for faster uptake of the cannabinoids.”

Unlike the alcohol-based versions of the other aforementioned tinctures, the coconut oil base makes the CBD Balance One tincture very easy to handle drop directly under your tongue.

I personally like to let the tincture swish around under my tongue for 10-15 seconds before swallowing it, as this will allow for faster uptake of the cannabinoids.

With a 1:1 ratio of THC-to-CBD, I expected that the CBD Balance One Tincture could help counter social anxiety during the day. Sure enough, I found 2-3 full droppers to be a great way to do just that, without an overly racy, psychotropic high that you would expect from THC alone.

Interestingly enough, the CBD Balance One Tincture has the same THC-to-CBD ratio as GW Pharmaceuticals’ drug Sativex – an oromucousal spray that is being used to treat multiple sclerosis (MS). With that in mind, one can reasonably suggest that the tincture might also be useful here.
