Venice Cookie Company’s Milk Chocolate & Toffee 4.20 Bar: A Gluten-Free Treat
Produced by the Venice Cookie Company, the 4.20 Bar has long been a staple in the California cannabis scene. It is a line of chocolate bars that are each infused with 4.20 grams of medical cannabis.
The Venice Cookie Company’s line of cannabis-infused products includes Lil’ Tootsies, Grape Cannabis Quencher, Strawberry Cannabis Lemonade, and Northwest Natural Petite Honey. Nonetheless, the company seems fond of concept behind the 4.20 bar and they have a number of recipes.
The Venice Cookie Company produces the traditional milk chocolate and dark chocolate recipes, often throwing in a slight twist. The company has a dark chocolate bar with sea salt and a dark chocolate bar with popping candy. With that said, my personal favorite would have to be the milk chocolate and toffee 4.20 Bar.
What Are The Ingredients Of The Milk Chocolate & Toffee 4.20 Bar?
One thing that I have come to expect from the Venice Cookie Company is an appreciation for those on special diets. Like many of their products, the milk chocolate & toffee 4.20 Bar is gluten-free.
The ingredients are listed as follows:
- Milk chocolate (pure cane sugar, full cream milk, cocoa butter, cacao beans, soya lecithin, vanilla beans)
- Toffee (sugar, palm oil, dairy butter [milk], almonds, artificial flavor, and soy lecithin)
- 4.2 grams of dried cannabis
In addition to the ingredients, the 4.20 Bar’s packaging clearly displays the lab-testing information. The test-results for the milk chocolate and toffee bar reveal that it contains 180 milligrams of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), less than 10 milligrams of cannabidiol (CBD), and less than 5 milligrams of cannabinol (CBN).
How Will The Milk Chocolate & Toffee 4.20 Bar Affect Me?
Judging from the cannabinoid profile, one would expect the milk chocolate and toffee 4.20 Bar to pack a bit of punch. With that said, I found half a bar to be nearly perfect for mid-day pain relief. The Venice Cookie Company suggests a serving size of just one section of the bar (one-sixth). Of course, a lot of this will rely on each individual’s tolerance level.
“I found the milk chocolate & toffee 4.20 Bar to provide minor pain and anxiety relief without draining me of energy.”
It had a very minimal cannabis taste and the chocolate simply melted in my mouth. Thirty minutes after finishing half of the milk chocolate and toffee 4.20 Bar, I found myself energized and clear headed.
In fact, the feeling was reminiscent of smoking a Sativa strain like Haze or Jack Herer.
A short time later, about 45 minutes after finishing the chocolate bar, I started to feel a slight buzz spread through my extremities. It was particularly effective at relieving tension in my neck and shoulders.
I was impressed with the Venice Cookie Company’s milk chocolate and toffee 4.20 Bar overall. I would not recommend it for someone suffering from chronic back pain, but I found it to provide minor pain and anxiety relief without draining me of energy.
